Institutional Members (Students’ Chapter) of ICE

Amongst the different Grades of Membership of ICE (I), Institutional Members (Students Chapter) occupy a very significant position as it is an important link between the ICE (I) and the registered candidates. ICE (I) therefore grants this membership after satisfying itself to the credibility of the Institution applying for such membership.

These Chapters provide information about the programmes and policies of ICE (I) and register students for enrolment. The Institutional Members (Students’ Chapter) provide all academic & administrative support to its registered candidates to complete the course of studies and to appear for examination. The Institutional Members (Students’ Chapter) also arrange Practicals & submission of Project Report through the AICTE approved Institutions (Engineering Colleges/Polytechnics).

Eligibility
Any educational Institution, body or organization involved in advancing the interests of Civil/Architectural Engineering is eligible to apply for membership of ICE (I) as Institutional Member (Students’ Chapter).

Candidates who wish to enroll for any of the examinations conducted by ICE (I) should carefully note that.

  1. Regulations and Syllabi are available from the Institutional Members (Students’ Chapter) in their area or from the office of the ICE (I) at Ludhiana and New Delhi.
  2. The filled in application form & fee is to be deposited with the Institutional Members (Students’ Chapter) only.
  3. Following number of Personal Contact Programmes (PCP) will be conducted by the Students’ Chapter for the enrolled candidates with them.

  4. A candidate is required to attend 80% of the PCP in order to be eligible to sit for the examination concerned.
